Most of the scriptures that use the word “slow” in the Old Testament talk about being slow to anger or slow to wrath. Anger is on of Satan’s best weapons. If he can get us angry at a fellow christian or family member, it takes away from our testimony. If he can cause some disaster or calamity to happen in our life and get us to show or speak our anger at God, then he has won that small victory of ruining our testimony in front’ of a non- Christian.
Please don’t let the devil win victories in your life by flying off the handle. Be slow to show your angry feelings but be quick to pray and trust God to work things out in a way that will bring honor to God and give Satan a defeat.
