What do we think of when we hear the word fresh. To most it is something that is “just right”. It might be a tomato that has just been plucked from the vine, or a loaf of bread just out of the oven. It usually conveys the idea that it hasn’t been here very long and is fairly new. That is when food tastes it’s best.
Many times, that is also when a Christian does their best work for the kingdom of God. Have you ever noticed someone who has just accepted Christ as their Savior, how they are so eager to tell everyone they meet what Jesus did for them and to spread His love and offer of salvation to them.
Oh that we might never lose our “ freshness “ for God and all that He has done for us. If you are feeling like your life and testimony for Christ is getting a bit stale, then now is the time to go to Him and ask Him to renew a right spirit in you and to give you back the joy, or freshness, of your salvation that you too can spread Christ’s love to all you meet.
