Middle

How many people always want to be in the middle of the action. You want to know the latest gossip, the latest fashion trends, and anything else that will make you feel “in the know.” You even try to get in the middle of someone’s business by asking questions about a situation you don’t need to, just to “be able to better pray for them.”

But all the time, the only person that we should want in the middle of our lives is left out completely. God want us to share our every intimate detail with Him, but we don’t even make time for Him most of the time, let alone let Him be the center of our lives.

The next time you are tempted to get in the middle of someone else's business, ask yourself if knowing the situation would be pleasing to the Lord. Most of the time the answer is going to be no. We do not need to know every intimate detail about a situation to be able to pray for someone. Most of the time, if we pray for someone without knowing why, we can truly see God's working in the situation and know it was He who met the need, and not us.
