Here is a type of poetry that I love to do for the holidays. Look down the lines of this poem, and you will spell out the name of the holiday:

Time to spend with loved ones each day

Health and happiness we have along our way

All of our needs met, sometimes in ways we don’t know

Not needing to look for a place to stay when the strong winds blow

Kept in the hollow of God’s hand so strong

Safe and secure when the night is long

Grateful for all the blessings the Lord does give

Inspiring others by the way we live

Visiting with loved ones we haven’t seen in a while

Inviting even those from many a mile

Never wanting the day to end

Getting ready for next year to do it again

IN LOVING MEMORY

Today is my daughter's birthday. She is the only one of 7 children to survive. The other 6 ended in miscarriage. I am thankful to God...
